Ten Quick & Simple Cleaning Hacks

Image
To kick things off, here's a compilation of some of my favorite quick and easy cleaning tips and tricks to make cleaning up after your family easier: Toothpaste has many uses other than the obvious brushing our teeth, and I'll get into a comprehensive list in another post. I'm including one useful hack here that moms of small children are likely to find especially helpful: Keep in mind that with this next tip, you need to follow the exact instructions. According to plumbers, using the citrus rinds alone will leave acid behind in your pipes, which will cause costly damage over time. So I decided to switch to an Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Kitchen Cleaner and see what happened, and I was thrilled with the re...

Ever since I brought Daisy home, one of my primary goals has been to keep her diet as organic, chemical free, and healthy as possible. Of all dog breeds, pit bull breeds in particular have extremely sensitive skin and are prone to allergies.  Yes, this has led to some challenges, and is considerably more expensive than if I didn't have these concerns. I have learned in my research and in my years of dog ownership that I am far from the only dog owner who wants to give my furry companion a better quality of life. One of the primary keys to this is eliminating as many chemicals from your dog's environment as possible. Though...
